Brady Hefner Signs With Dells Ducks August 9, 2012 9:09 AM

When you sign one Hefner, you usually get two. Brady Hefner is joining his twin brother Bradley as part of the Dells Ducks this season.

Brady though is somewhat the opposite of Bradley. Brady is a forward, and when it comes to being a forward, he never takes his foot off the gas. Thirty two points in forty three games with Bozeman last season shows he is more than capable of creating scoring chances for himself and his linemates. A brief call up to the North American Hockey League for two games resulted in two more points for Hefner.

"Brady is a forward who should dominate this season. We completely expect him to be called up to the North American Hockey League again this year." Said Head Coach Bill Zaniboni "Brady is really learning how to put all the pieces together. He has the skill and the speed, its has just been a process of working with him to fine tune when to use those tools. He is a young player with a lot of upside, a legitimate Division One NCAA candidate."

I had a chance to talk with Brady Hefner at the TJHN showcase this past April:

"I love playing for Coach Bill. He demands a lot, but he gives a lot too. Any time I have a question, or want to spend extra time working on something he is always there. The guy is in the rink at five thirty in the morning and doesnt leave till late at night. If he can do that, then I can definitely do my part. He works hard and I want to work harder."

Stay tuned as we profile another Ducks player daily until the start of the MNJHL season.
