Dan Daikawa Head Coach GM of Jamestown Not Leaving May 29, 2012 8:39 AM

With rumors swirling on message boards and blogs, TJHN reached out to Dan Daikawa the Head Coach and General Manager of the NAHL’s Jamestown Ironmen for comment.

When reached this morning by phone, Coach Daikawa made it clear that he is not leaving the Ironmen saying, "I dont know where these rumors are coming from. Unless I was fired without being told I am working on building our team for this season."

Coach Diakawa expressed concern over people starting these rumors saying, "Who ever is doing this could effect my recruiting, if we lost players because of this rumor those people have damaged the team. It would be a shame because we have some great players coming into camp and we expect to contend this season."

With this information its fair to say that unless Kenji Yamada issues a release, Dan Daikawa will be working the bench and contuing to recruit as Jamestown looks forward to the 2012 season.
