Factual Reporting On Non Hockey Canada Leagues – Specifically The Comments Being Made By The CIHL

To be clear, I support all hockey. Junior and other levels. What I dont support is the spreading of completely false information.

The other day, David Wagner wrote a piece about non Hockey Canada leagues and potential player sanctions for those players who play in any league that is not sanctioned by Hockey Canada after September 30th.

Now I am informed that people within the CIHL are publicly stating that there are no such sanctions for players in the CIHL

Well those representations are completely false.  FALSE.

If you play in ANY non Hockey Canada league after September 30th, you will not be allowed to play in a Hockey Canada sanctioned league.

It is in writing in the rule book.

I hope people do their own research like we do and dont follow blindly.
