NOJHL Returning To Espanola Pending Approvals As The Espanola Express

Marching toward a twelve team league, the NOJHL is heading back to Espanola Ontario pending a board of governors vote and NOHA approval.  Both of which are likely to happen in short order.

After hearing a presentation from Tom McCarthy on Tuesday, Espanola Town Council should be providing its final approval on May 12th.  Just in time for the franchise to get deeply involved in the summer recruiting season.

Returning as the Espanola Express, the franchise is connecting to the town’s long standing history relating to the Canadian Pacific Railway.

While some details are yet to be worked out, the principals involved have already developed a scouting schedule and are activity recruiting top end Canadian and US born players.

TJHN will update this story as more information becomes available.
