OJHL Coffey squeaks by OJHL Oates, 4-2

The game between OJHL Coffey and OJHL Oates was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end OJHL Coffey emerged with a 4-2 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Vince Figliomeni at 12:55 of the second period.

Figliomeni had two goals to lead OJHL Coffey to victory.

OJHL Coffey additionally got points from Nick Thomakos, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Eric Williams, who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, OJHL Coffey received assists from Stefano Alonzi, who had two and Ryan Taylor and Alex Tonge, who each chipped in one.

OJHL Oates was helped by Steve Hladin, who grabbed one goal. Hladin scored 9:19 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jackson Bales picked up the assist. OJHL Oates also got a goal from Ian Edmondson as well. More assists for OJHL Oates came via Joey Beaudoin and BJ Salerno, who contributed one each.

OJHL Coffey incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. OJHL Oates ended with no penalties and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
