The Death Pool – Special Report – When Tier III Expands Midget Teams Fold

Yeah, so that was some awesome news yesterday for more free to play hockey!  2017 looks to be a great year to be a player and have more options.

I got to tell you though, 2016 has been tough on teams.  Too many Tier III teams and way too much expansion.  No problem though, teams have been folding and will continue to fold for the next month or so.

What’s messed up though is how may Midget teams are folding because of this stupid Tier III expansion.  Yep, we got at least a half dozen we are aware of.

I mean forget the fact that 90% of all draft picks in Junior Hockey come from Midget hockey.  You know, like that’s some insignificant number.  Forget the fact that being a dominating player in age specific programing is what scouts look for.  You know, like those two pretty important things should be tossed out the window.

Now I know Tier III is cheaper in many cases.  But hey, that’s what you kids get when you think you need to fly cross country a few times a year to play games.  Seriously who the hell is the moron who came up with this shit?  Like anyone needs to fly cross country all year long to play Midget freakin hockey!  I mean its not like the system was broken before.

But hey, lets just go and become another one of the freakin sheep in the land of lions.  Lets keep on telling kids its better to play up and not get noticed then it is to get noticed among your peers.

Whats crazy is I hear Advisers are sending 16 yr old kids to Tier III leagues over Midget AAA when they know the Tier III team would likely get destroyed by the Midget team.  Its just wrong.

So yeah kids, when you hear your adviser tell you to go play in some Tier III league instead of the Tier 1 Elite League, or the HPHL, tell him two words……you’re fired.

Uh oh, got to run, I hear a long flat line going off……………………
