TJHN Pre Draft Showcase Is Now “The Pre Draft Combine”

predraftcombine2

Over the last two off seasons, TJHN has hosted a Pre Draft Showcase.  The 2014 off season will mark a shift in how the Pre Draft event is presented and how players will participate.

In previous years, the Pre Draft was all about having players on the ice in game situations.  For the 2014 Pre Draft event, based upon coaching and scout requests, will also include strength, fitness, agility and speed testing.

The Pre Draft Combine will now take place over a four day period so that these additional critical testing components may be added.

Each player will participate in one practice and play in at least four games.  Players will be chosen for two all star games after the four qualifying games by evaluating Coaches and Scouts.

In previous events, Scouts and Coaches from the following leagues have attended and taken players from the Pre Draft to main camps or added them to their future scouting schedules:

NCAA, USHL, NAHL, NOJHL, OHL, OJHL, SIJHL, MNJHL, NA3HL, Met JHL, USPHL, WSHL, and various Midget AAA programs.

Every participant will receive a Combine Jersey, registration and publication of their own player profiles on The Junior Hockey News and www.predraftcombine.com  a player welcome package that will include gifts from sponsors of the event, as well as information on playing Junior and NCAA hockey.

Last years participants attended more than 100 NAHL or Canadian Tier II main camps and 34 USHL camps.

This camp is open for 1994 through 1998 birth years.

Players should submit a resume for consideration to [email protected]  Scouts and Coaches may register to attend and receive advance scouting packages through [email protected]
