Aaron Corbiere to lead Jr. Blaze June 28, 2012 6:36 AM

The Bloomington Jr. Blaze, new members of the MWJHL have hired Aaron Corbiere as thier first Head Coach and General Manager.

Corbiere brings a Championship attitude and pedigree to the Blaze Organization. Spending last season as an assistant with the Southern Oregon Spartans, Corbiere was instrumental in their 2011-2012 NorPac Championship run. Aaron is no stranger to Championships though as he lead the Alpena Thunder in 2010-2011 to a 29-10-1-1 record capturing the Continental Junior Hockey League title.

Having played Junior in a few leagues throughout the US and Canada, Corbiere learned a lot about coaching from his father. Rick Corbiere has long been the Head Coach of the highly regarded Soo Indians Midget AAA team. Before the Indians Rick coached in the NOJHL and NAHL.

It seems as though coaching is in the blood with Aaron Corbiere.
