The USPHL’s Chicago Cougars are happy to announce that alumni player Breydon Hemminger is in Poland on a tryout with Comarch Cracovia in the top league.
Known for his relentless forecheck and penalty killing Hemminger is bringing his active stick during camp.
“I am excited for the opportunity to compete with such high level players from around the world.” Said Hemminger “The skill level is really high and the speed is great. I am definitely learning and enjoying the experience.”
After putting up 75 points in 42 games last year Hemminger had several NCAA opportunities. Seeing the COVID-19 pandemic shutting programs down for the year made coming on a pro tryout an easy decision to make.
Opportunity in Poland could not be better for import players as there are no import player limits.
Hemminger will look to continue his European experience as the pre season moves forward.
