Jack Eichel Shocks QMJHL Draft

Jack Eichel 15th overall, a shocking pick in the QMJHL. Not because he isnt worthy based on talent, but he is said to be going another direction. Or is he?

Eichel, 15, had 36 goals and 77 points in 32 games for the Boston Junior Bruins this year and is suppossed to join USA Hockey’s national team development Program next year. Eichel is also commited to Boston University.

It looks like he may have more than a passing interest in the major junior route now.

Eichel was not present at the draft. Let the speculation begin now as to why he may have interest, and why the pick was made.
