Ben describes himself as ” a good skating, puck moving defenseman.” As for how and why he chose Kirkland Lake, Ben says, ” he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play in an historic hockey town.” As well, “Coach Wood has a track record of  putting together winning teams.” Ben says he is, ” looking forward to being a part of the Kirkland Lake community.”

Coach Wood is ecstatic over the signing saying, ” Ben is a steady, puck-moving dman, that will take a hit to make a play.”  Coach Wood adds, “he’ll be a great fit, adding some offence from our back end.”
