Opole HK Joins European University Hockey League In Addition To PZHL Schedule

Opole HK is making moves to benefit players. Always putting the player, his development and exposure first is simply the best way to do business.

The European University Hockey League has been growing the college hockey game across Europe for eight years. While taking last season off due to the COVID pandemic, the EUHL is back and better than ever.

Opole HK has joined the EUHL, and will play dual schedules in the EUHL and the 1st League in Poland.

“We began this process about a year ago, and today we made it official, with the EUHL President Jaroslav Straka and Vice President Lubomir Sekeras coming to Opole.” Said Opole HK Owner and General Manager Joseph Kolodziej “We had a great meeting and discussed player development along with the EUHL’s growth and development. We have matching views and the vision is clear. This gives our Opole players more games, and a longer season. That means more scouting for them, and more opportunity to win championships.”

The EUHL has had great success over its first eight years. Moving players on from University hockey to Professional hockey just like it is happening in North America.

“Europe needs that middle piece of the development puzzle between Junior Hockey and Pro Hockey.” Said EUHL President Jaroslav Straka “Like the North America system, players in Europe need more time to develop and prepare for the top professional leagues. The EUHL offers players, from around the world that opportunity. The EUHL is not only for European players, it is for North American players and all other Nations.”

Opole HK will be representing the Polytechnic University of Opole, and the City of Opole in EUHL competition.

The EUHL, has programs in several countries, and these programs along with the Universities they represent, offer great hockey along with English speaking classes.

The cost of education in Europe for North Americans is much lower than in North America. With an average of $5000 per year cost to obtain an undergraduate degree, and similar costs for an MBA.

Hockey will not last forever for 99% of people who love and play the game. Your education will last you a lifetime.

Isn’t it wise to look into lowering your cost of education and getting your degree while not being saddled with extreme student loan debt upon graduation?

The EUHL, offers the keys to lowered cost of quality University education, while providing a great college hockey experience, and exposure to the top European Professional leagues.
