Opole HK Moves Players To Pro

Opole HK offers the best opportunity for players who are looking to play professionally in Europe to gain the exposure needed to open doors.

Playing in front of scouts from Russia, Germany, France, Slovakia, Czech, and Belarus is something that happens every weekend. Exposure is the name of the game in Opole.

Marshall Renke is the latest Opole HK to get experience at the professional level.

Lippe Hockey Hamm in the German Oberliga made the call to Opole HK and requested the transfer of Marshall Renke this week.

“Marshall came to us late last season after the Canadian leagues announced they were not going to play. He quickly fit in with the rest of the boys, and did a nice job for us being a stay at home defenseman.” Said Opole HK Owner and General Manager Joseph Kolodziej

“Any time we get a call on a player to move them up, we do not hold them back. We try to push them along. While it may hurt our roster a little, its the right thing to do, and it is why we are here.”

European teams do not scout in North America, they do not have the budgets to do so. Getting noticed in Europe for players who are not coming from NCAA or other pro leagues in North America is only done by actually playing in Europe.
