Opole HK – One Goalie, One Forward, Three Defense Positions Available

Opole HK is looking to fill five remaining positions for the 2021-2022 season.

Playing in the MHL, Poland’s highest level development league, and the European University Hockey League give players the opportunity to be seen by scouts all across Europe.

Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Romania offer players the exposure to professional European teams they are looking for. No other team can offer two leagues, two playoffs, and all the exposure that Opole HK offers.

“Most people don’t know, but attending a European University, most classes are taught in English, and it is less than thirty percent of the cost of attending college in the United States.” Said Opole HK Owner and General Manager Joseph Kolodziej “We are preparing young men for life, not just for competition on the ice. Getting them educated for a lower cost is an opportunity to start your adult life in a better financial position.”

For those players who are looking for exposure to professional scouts, Opole HK offers that exposure to all of the European top level professional leagues.

“It is a short trip for teams from Germany, France, Czech and Slovakia to come to Poland.” Said Opole HK Head Coach Brad Zangs “These teams do not scout in North America, so if you want to play professionally in Europe in the future, coming to Europe now is your best opportunity.”

Opole HK finished in second place during its first season in 2020-2021. Looking to build on that success and win a championship this year, Opole HK is out scouting and adding players who want to compete at the highest level of Junior hockey in Europe. Opole HK has also joined the European University Hockey League for 2021-2022 in order to add more games to the schedule, and give players the opportunity to play in several other countries.

Opole HK is looking for one Forward and three Defensemen along with one Goaltender for the 2021-2022 season.
