The Play Safe Stay Safe program launching in Opole Poland for the 2020-2021 is pleased to announce that Connor Kemp has committed to taking his high flying two way his talents to Europe.
The American Forward is joining the long list of talented players who turned in their contract and is excited about continuing his development in Europe while getting the benefits of North American programming.
Kemp most recently competed in the NAHL with the New Mexico Ice Wolves. The California native is looking forward to returning to his high scoring ways with the Opole HK program.
Kemp is a highly accomplished player making Select U15 and U16 camps for USA Hockey and continually producing at high levels at the U18 and U16 levels in the Tier 1 Elite League.
Exploring Europe and some of his Polish heritage, while taking advantage of his skating ability on the bigger ice surface were just a few reasons Kemp chose to jump from the NAHL to Opole HK.
The 2001 birth year player is looking forward to the opportunity to be seen by junior and professional scouts from around Europe representing European and North American teams.
With the uncertainty in Canada and the United States right now, Kemp felt the Play Safe Stay Safe program allowed for him to have the best opportunity to enjoy a fun and uninterrupted 2020 2021 season.
