The Play Safe Stay Safe program launching in Opole Poland for the 2020-2021 is pleased to announce that Lars Thoma has committed to keeping his talents to Europe.
The Swiss Defenseman is joining the long list of talented players who turned in their contract and is excited about continuing his development in Europe while getting the benefits of North American programming.
Thoma most recently competed in the NAPHL with the IHA Florida team and the Davos U-17 team in his home town of Davos Switzerland. The Defenseman is looking forward to continuing developing his international game with the Opole HK program.
Thoma is looking forward to standard athlete testing, nutrition counseling, and a completely player focused environment.
Thoma brings his smooth skating style back to the bigger ice surface which should lead to more point production and activation from the blue line.
The 2004 birth year player is looking forward to the opportunity to be seen by junior and professional scouts from around Europe representing European and North American teams.
With the uncertainty in Canada and the United States right now, Thoma felt the Play Safe Stay Safe program allowed for him to have the best opportunity to enjoy an uninterrupted 2020 2021 season.
