Opole HK Signs Ilya McCulloch For 2021-2022 Season

Opole HK is pleased to announce that Ilya McCulloch has signed to play in Opole for the 2021-2022 season.

“We are excited to get Ilya over to Opole this season.” Said Opole HK Head Coach Brad Zangs “With four years of junior hockey experience, we are going to rely on him along with our other veterans to set a championship tone in the dressing room from the day we being in just under three weeks.”

McCulloch has more than 150 games in the USPHL Premier and also played some in the Tier II division NCDC.

“With Ilya, we get a lot of experience, and a solid skater who can play multiple positions.” Said Opole HK Owner and General Manager Joseph Kolodziej “That versatility is very important during the season, and it will allow him to play multiple roles on our team. It will be great to get everyone on the ice in just three weeks.”

Opole HK finished in second place during its first season in 2020-2021. Looking to build on that success and win a championship this year, Opole HK is adding players who want to compete at the highest level of Junior hockey in Europe. Opole HK has also joined the European University Hockey League for 2021-2022 in order to add more games to the schedule, and give players the opportunity to play in several other countries.

Opole HK is looking for one Forward and three Defensemen along with one Goaltender for the 2021-2022 season.
