Opole HK To Play Polish U-20 National Team

October 20 and 21 will be historic days for Opole HK. The Play Safe Stay Safe program initiated in Opole Poland this year will host the Polish U-20 National Team for two friendly games.

The Polish National Team will participate in the IIHF World Championship Division I Group B in Tallinn Estonia in February of 2021.

“We are excited to host and play against the Polish National Team as they prepare for World Championships.” Said Opole HK Head Coach Todd White

“The opportunity to measure our players against the country’s best young players is very motivating. As a Coach its a great opportunity to see how our style of play matches up with the European style of play.”

Opole HK currently sits in 4th place in the top league of Polish Junior Hockey (MHL) with games in hand against teams above them.

All games are broadcast in HD on line. Broadcast times and links for these games will be announced Monday.

With three open roster spots left to fill Head Coach Todd White is looking to bring in a few more players from Canada or the United States before the games against the Polish National Team.
