Opole HK – Tristen Konrad Returns For 2021-2022

Opole HK is pleased to announce that 2002 birth year forward Tristen Konrad will be returning for the 2021-2022 season.

“Tristen came to Opole very late last season after his Canadian team announced they would not play.” Said Opole HK Owner and General Manager Joseph Kolodziej “Tristen got into a few regular season games as well as some exhibition games and really did well. All the time off last year was difficult to overcome, and we think a whole off season of being able to train properly will give Tristen the break out season he is looking for.”

Before signing with Opole HK, Konrad played a full season in the GOJHL and had a taste of junior hockey as a 16 year old in the PCJHL.

“I am really looking forward to see what we can bring out of Tristen.” Said Opole HK Head Coach Brad Zangs “He has the potential to grow into an impact player, and his skating ability will definitely play well with the systems we will work with in Opole this season. Its great to see so many returning players who want to bring the city a championship this year.”

Opole HK finished in second place during its first season in 2020-2021. Looking to build on that success and win a championship this year, Opole HK is out scouting and adding players who want to compete at the highest level of Junior hockey in Europe. Opole HK has also joined the European University Hockey League for 2021-2022 in order to add more games to the schedule, and give players the opportunity to play in several other countries.

Opole HK is looking for one Forward and three Defensemen along with one Goaltender for the 2021-2022 season.
