Tier 1 Elite Hockey League Expands
The T1EHL is proud to welcome some new additions to their organizational charts adding more of the elite programs in amatuer hockey from around the country. The new teams will add more competition, and bring top rated talent to the already stacked T1EHL Showcase line up. Commissioner Larry Johnson said, “We are thrilled to add such high quality programs into our organization. The teams we are adding are high profile organizations who will add more depth to our already top tier showcases and divisions.”
The organizations include the Anaheim Jr. Ducks, San Jose Jr. Sharks, Fox Motors (Formerly Michigan Nationals), NJ Avalanche, and the Connecticut Wolf Pack. “Joining the Tier1 league gives credibility to our birth year philosophy. Now all of our birth year teams have a league structure that we have not had in the past from squirt to midget. The competition against some of the country’s top programs will challenge us to be the best we can be. We look forward to working with and competing against the top programs the country has to offer,” said Curtis Brown, Director of the Jr Sharks.
The Wolf Pack also commented, “We are excited to be a part of the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League. This league contains some of the top teams in the country and provides the Wolf Pack with exposure for our players and an opportunity to compete against the best!”
With more teams of high caliber joining the T1EHL ranks, the 2015/2016 season promises to be the top place for youth development and gives even more opportunity for young players to get noticed and advance to the upper eschelons of hockey.
