Since 2002 the annual Showcase Series has brought players from around the world together for the best competition in front of the most important decision makers.
In previous years scouts from the USHL, OHL, NCDC, NAHL, BCHL, AJHL, SJHL, NOJHL, SIJHL, OJHL, QMJHL, WHL, USPHL and even a few from the NHL have attended. More than two thousand players have attended one event or another over the years and most have elevated their level of play in the following season.
The Junior Hockey News Showcase format consists of every player being guaranteed five games. Only two goalies per team. Two twenty five minute stop time periods per game with an ice cut in between periods.
Scouts and coaches attending will be on the benches during games.
All scouts will have unlimited access to players at all times. All scouts and coaches will also have the opportunity to give a presentation on their programs to all players attending.
All scouts are provided complete player profiles, and statistics from each event are uploaded to your Elite Prospects Profile.
Every player will have their profile published on The Junior Hockey News, a recruiting benefit not available with any other event.
All games will be broadcast free of charge on The Junior Hockey News YouTube channel for parents, scouts and family members to watch. These videos will be available to players to clip and use in their personal highlight reels.
We have eliminated the on and off ice testing component due to scouts telling us they would prefer to see more games played. Testing is routinely done with high level teams during the season, and we want you to get the most out of your opportunity to be seen.
