The Sudbury Nickel Barons Hockey Club would like to offer condolances to the Hancock family and to friends and teammates of DJ Hancock.
The talented defenseman just finished putting on a great display of his abilities and had the Baron’s coaching staff impressed with his grit and skill level before his life was taken tragically minutes after leaving the arena.
The Barons through Hockey Canada will have a grief Counsellor available to it’s players and staff beginning this evening and throughout the entire season.
