Philadelphia Amateur Hockey Combine

The Philadelphia Amateur Hockey Combine will bring together over 100 of the top amateur hockey players, ages 13-19, from coast-to-coast. This unmatched combination of on-and-off-ice testing, practices, and full 60-minute games will provide professional and college scouts in attendance with a comprehensive look at each player.

Daily instruction and lectures will be led by NHL alumni and coaches, including Todd Fedoruk, Derian Hatcher, Ian Laperriere, Jeremy Roenick, Robert Esche, and more.

Combine Details
Dates: July 30 – August 1, 2013
Location: Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees

Age Levels: Futures Division (ages 13-15), two teams of 18 players; Junior Division (ages 16-19), four teams of 18 players. Please note, this event is for elite AAA-level players only. A screening committee will be formed to review all applications. Application does not guarantee participation in the Combine. Not all applicants will be selected.

Application:
Interested players are encouraged to complete an online application CLICK HERE. This process will ensure that Combine staff is aware of your interest in attending. Participants in the Combine will have been pre-screened and scouted by Combine staff.

Cost: $300 per player, which includes 11 hours of ice time, jersey, socks, workout shorts & t-shirt, lunch each day, and bus transportation for off-ice testing. Payment is due immediately after final selections are made. In accordance with NCAA regulations, a high school student’s expenses must be paid by the student’s parent or legal guardian. No third party payment will be accepted.

Daily Schedule
Morning:
• Combine testing with professional training staff (Day 1 – off-ice testing; Day 2 – on-ice without pucks; Day 3 – on-ice with pucks)
• On-ice practice with professional instructors
• Post-practice systems review

Afternoon:
• Lunch
• Daily Lecture with featured guest speakers
• Game (Three 20-minute periods with ice cuts)

Combine Staff

Todd Fedoruk (Camp Director) – played 10 years in the NHL; currently Philadelphia Flyers Ambassador of Hockey
Derian Hatcher – played 17 years in the NHL; currently Philadelphia Flyers Player Development Coach
Ian Laperriere – played 16 years in the NHL; currently the Philadelphia Flyers Director of Player Development
Jeremy Roenick – played 20 years in the NHL; currently serves as an NHL television analyst
Robert Esche (goaltending consultant) – played 9 years as a goalie in the NHL
