TJHN is pleased to announce that Sam Laskaris has joined our team!
Sam has had articles published in more than 100 newspapers and magazines in Canada and the United States. Bringing more than twenty-five years of writing experience, Sam will be covering many different level of hockey in the Toronto area.
From ’86-98 the majority of his articles were published in the Toronto Star’s sports section and its five Neighbours (zoned) sections. From ’98 to 2007 most of his articles were written for the Toronto and Durham Region chains of Metroland newspapers. Then, for the next few years, most of his stories were for the Toronto-based Town Crier papers.
During the past decade Sam has been one of the main writers for Hockey Now’s regional publications, writing articles about youth hockey, junior hockey as well as the NHL and minor pro teams.
Tomorrow, TJHN will feature the first article written for TJHN by Sam.
