DAWE PRESENTED WITH GOALIE OF MONTH AWARD

Former Georgetown Raiders netminder Knick Dawe (photo credit – Metcalfe Photography/Sarnia Sting), now a member of the OHL’s Sarnia Sting, was presented with his OJHL December Gongshow Gear Goaltender of the Month award prior to the Sting game on Friday night versus the Erie Otters.

On-hand for the presentation was OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy, who presented Dawe with his commemorative award and he will receive an apparell package courtesy of Gongshow Gear, the Official Hockey Lifestyle Apparell of the OJHL.

Although not playing on Friday night with the return of Sarnia starter J.P. Anderson, Dawe opened his OHL career with a perfect 3-0 weekend and currently sits with a 4-2 record in six games played. Currently in first place in the West Division, the Sting went on to defeat Erie 7-6 in the contest.

The OJHL would like to thank the Sarnia Sting for accomodating the presentation and congratulate Knick once again on an outstanding December, as well as throughout his OJHL career!
