Worcester Railers JHC 2, Northern Cyclones 1 (SO)

Cole Scullion (’06/Burlington, Mass.) stopped 63 of 64 shots in 65 minutes of hockey, and then stopped four additional shots in the Railers’ first ever NCDC shootout win. Ben Jarosz (’05/Orlando, Mass.) scored the shootout winner for the Railers.

 

South Shore Kings 5, Islanders Hockey Club 0

Kamil Rohal (’05/Humenne, Slovakia) scored twice, and his former Slovakian Under-18 National Teammate Lukas Fursten (’05/Ilava, Slovakia) stopped all 18 shots for his second straight shutout in a 5-0 Kings win over the Islanders Hockey Club. Sacred Heart University recruit Jack DesRuisseaux (’04/Manchester, N.H.) scored a goal and added an assist, while Joseph Dable (’04/Wellesley, Mass.) registered two assists.

 

Rockets Hockey Club 4, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 2

Jared Rothman (’06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) scored twice for the Rockets, and Derek Wood (’06/Louisville, Colo.) made 39 saves on 41 shots for his first junior win. Wood, formerly of the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders, was a 2022 NCDC Entry Draft Pick by the Rockets.
