Goaltender: Riley Gorman, Elmira Impact

Gorman (‘04/Odessa, Texas) stopped 120 of 126 shots faced in three games, for a .952 save percentage in his week of action over which he won all three games, twice against the reigning National Champion Connecticut Jr. Rangers and also against three-time Premier Nationals competitors the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. Gorman was a two-year NA3HL veteran who brought his game to the Premier level.

Canada Division

Forward: Nathan Pelletier, Universel Sherbrooke

Pelletier (‘05/La Pocatiere, Que.) put up a 2-3-5 line over two games as Sherbrooke split their past week’s games. This included a 1-3-4 performance against the Hawkesbury Knights on Oct. 12. Pelletier has scored points in all but one of his eight games, for 11 points this year so far.

Defense: Zachary Mahjoubi, Montreal Black Vees

Mahjoubi (‘06/Quebec City, Que.) rang up four assists as a new defenseman transitioned from forward, in the Black Vees’ only game of the week against Kingston, improving to 10 points in 12 games in his first junior season.

Goaltender: Luka Nardolillo, Hawkesbury Knights

Nardolillo (‘07/Montreal, Que.) stopped all 23 shots he faced for his first junior shutout on Oct. 13 against Kingston. He stands at 4-0 out of the gate, with a 2.23 GAA and a .917 save percentage.

New England Division

Forward: Anthony Prioli, South Shore Kings

Prioli (‘05/Weymouth, Mass.) has been a goal-scoring machine lately. He scored three goals and added three assists over the space of three games for a division-leading six points for the week. Just after the cutoff for this week, he went and scored a hat trick on Oct. 15 to put himself in a great position for a potential repeat here next week. His 10 goals are currently tied for fourth league-wide.

Defense: Nick Zanin, Springfield Pics

The third-year Pic Zanin (‘04/West Stockbridge, Mass.) had a fantastic week by putting up a goal and adding four assists. This gave him 13 points in nine games on the season, putting him into a tie for third on the Premier’s defenseman scoring leaderboard. He is five games from his 100th regular season Premier contest.

Goaltender: Troy Huber, Springfield Pics

Another returning Pic, Huber (‘05/Framingham, Mass.) put together a very strong 1-1 week by stopping 62 of 64 shots for a .969 save percentage and a 1.11 GAA for his week’s work. This included a 41-save performance against a strong Utica Jr. Comets team in Utica.
