Goaltender: Ryan Kalina, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes
The career Jr. Hurricanes player Kalina (‘05/Raleigh, N.C.) stopped 25 of 26 shots to help Carolina to a big win against the Hampton Roads Whalers on Oct. 5. Kalina has both of the Jr. Canes wins on the season. He was a 2023-24 USPHL Elite All-Star, so he is certainly a great example of USPHL Advancement In Action.
Florida Division
Forward: Jarrett Ireland, Bold City Battalion
Ireland (‘05/Ashburn, Va.) put up three goals – including a shorthanded goal – and added one assist on Oct. 5 for the Battalion, who are undefeated in regulation in their last six out of seven total games. The second-year Battalion has five points in seven games this year.

Grinsvall (‘04/Goteborg, Sweden), a returning 2023-24 Florida Division All-Star, registered four assists in the Battalion’s single game of the last week, a 7-4 victory against Palm Beach.
