20 BCHL grads named Atlantic Hockey all-academics

Atlantic Hockey has announced its all-academic players for the past school year and 20 BCHL graduates made the grade.

To qualify for the honour, student-athletes needed to have a minimum 3.0 grade point average in all of the academic semesters in which their team was actively competing.

There were also a pair of BCHL grads honoured as Student-Athletes of the Year for having a GPA of 4.0 or better.

American International University:

Matt Cassidy, Cowichan Valley Capitals (2x winner) Colton Cyr, Nanaimo Clippers/Vernon Vipers

Army:

Cody Ikkala, Vernon Vipers (4x winner)

Bentley University:

Andrew Gladiuk, Nanaimo Clippers Alex Grieve, West Kelowna Warriors (2x winner) Tyler Krause, West Kelowna Warriors

University of Connecticut:

Jordan Sims, Langley Chiefs (3x winner)

College of the Holy Cross:

Jeff Reppucci, Alberni Valley Bulldogs (3x winner) ** Student-Athlete of the Year Erik Vos, Powell River Kings (4x winner)

Niagara University:

Jason Beattie, Salmon Arm SilverBacks (4x winner) ** Student-Athlete of the Year

Robert Morris University:

Chase Golightly, Prince George Spruce Kings Scott Jacklin, Trail Smoke Eaters (2x winner) Jeff Jones, Merritt Centennials (2x winner) Mac Roy, Langley Chiefs

Rochester Institute of Technology:
