The Rosetown Redwings are dead, now that the ice is actually in the arena in Rosetown. Funny that the ice goes in and the problems are solved and the team moves?

But it looks like their move to High Prairie may be stalling out after some wise readers gave a heads up to the Mayor of High Prairie:
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The whole league is an embarrassment. But there are parents, and tribal organizations supporting what they have to know is a joke.
The recent “information meeting” held in a hotel lobby didn’t bring a whole lot of support from the community either. Who holds an information meeting in a hotel lobby?
The GMHL should be known as the league where desperate players who really shouldn’t be playing junior hockey get to play. How these cockroaches continue to survive is really a testament to how desperate some people are to say they played junior instead of spending their money on an education they clearly need.
