NCAA Hockey is becoming less and less likely with each passing day. University’s simply can not control all movement and contacts being made by their students when a campus is open.
This has become very clear at Notre Dame University and others across the country.
Notre Dame University on Tuesday canceled in-person undergraduate classes for two weeks after a spike of coronavirus cases that occurred since the semester began Aug. 10.
University president the Rev. John Jenkins said there have been 147 confirmed cases of coronavirus on campus since the start of classes for the university’s approximately 12,000 students.
Michigan State issued the following statement:
“Effective immediately, we are asking undergraduate students who planned to live in our residence halls this fall to stay home and continue their education with MSU remotely,” on Twitter.
The University of Michigan will have a hybrid school year, with some in person and some remote learning in order to keep campus numbers lower this year.
The University of North Carolina recently sent students home for remote learning after several became infected and were discovered in dorms and student housing.
Information from multiple sources is citing multiple instances of non-mask wearing, and no social distancing measures being enforced off campus as being at fault.
