2022 will mark the fifth year that European Hockey Tours will be bringing North American players and their parents to Europe for once in a lifetime hockey and cultural experiences.
Even during the COVID pandemic, European Hockey Tours has been able to provide, safe, fun and educational hockey experiences in Europe.
All European Hockey Tours provide transportation by private coach bus. Double occupancy in four star hotels where available. Skate sharpening, tape, jerseys, socks, and professional level coaching. All ice and/or tournament fee’s are included along with a meet and great and departure team dinner.
The 2022 European Hockey Tour season will kick of the first ten days in April with a tour of Spain. Starting in Barcelona and continuing on through the wine region in Logrono, the tour will feature a minimum of four games against Spanish clubs in the First League. The highest level of play in Spain. An additional match with a visiting team from France is also being scheduled.
In August European Hockey Tours will make their annual tour of Poland, and later in the month a visit to the Czech Republic is also scheduled.
In Poland, games will be played against First League teams in Krakow and the Katowice region. These teams provide great scouting opportunities for players who are interested in playing Professionally or Collegiate hockey in Europe. Scouts from top Professional and University programs will be in attendance.
In the Czech Republic, games will be played against University programs as well as Czech second league teams. And additional match is also being scheduled with a team from Germany. Scouts from top programs in Germany and the Czech Republic will be in attendance.
It is important to note that tours in Poland and the Czech Republic can often result in players receiving offers to play in Europe for the coming season. August is when training camps open and players performing well will receive opportunities to play in Europe for the 2022-2023 season.
All European Hockey Tour events are limited to 18 skaters and three goaltenders.
In addition to the competition, tours of historical and educational sites are also arranged. For parents accompanying players on the tour, special arrangements for hotels, shopping trips, and winery tours are also provided on an individual basis.
Each Coach bus can accommodate up to 20 parents or family members in addition to the players and coaching staff. When necessary an additional coach bus will be added to accommodate family members and siblings who may accompany players.
