USPHL Premier Players Of The Month – November 2022: New England Division

(Summaries by Britt Hart)

Forwards

Jake Terra, Boston Junior Bruins

A local product for the Junior Bruins, Terra (’03/Marlborough, MA) and his teammates went undefeated in the month of November, picking up a total of six wins and 12 points towards the standings. The Junior Bruins’ leading scorer was able to register at least two points per game in all but one contest. That stretch of games have been Terra’s best date and extended his point total to 17 points in 14 games with 13 being recorded last month. With a trio of three-point games, Terra hopes to continue his offensive success as the season continues.

Simon Rulc, Northern Cyclones

Similar to the Junior Bruins, the Northern Cyclones’ leading scorer in Simon Rulc (’03/Praha, Czechia) had an outstanding month of November, also recording at least two points per game in all contests but one. The first-year Cyclones forward currently has an average of 2.13 points per game after his productive month, tallying a whopping 17 points in seven games. After only having six points prior to November, Rulc was able to spark his offensive ability and take the reins as the Cyclones’ go-to point getter.

Jesper Seeberg, Islanders Hockey Club

Islanders veteran forward Seeberg (’03/Lake Worth, Fla.) continues to produce offensively for yet another season at the Premier level. With 10 games being played in the month of November, Seeberg tallied a total of 16 points, bringing his point per game average to 1.67. In addition to two three-point games, Seeberg had a highlight performance game against the Connecticut Jr. Rangers, where he was able to net four goals, his best game to date. With more than half of the season left to play, the Florida native will most likely surpass his previous Premier point record of 39 points as currently has tallied 24 to date. He has 64 points in 62 career Premier games.

Defensemen

Cameron Craig, Boston Junior Bruins

The Post University recruit continues to impress, helping to be a key to the Junior Bruins’ undefeated November and streak of 11 games that went from Oct. 11 through Dec. 1, 2022 and encompassed all six games they played last month. The ’02 from Larkspur, Colo., put up four points over the course of the month and a +5 rating. A third-year Premier defenseman already preparing for his known NCAA hockey destination, Craig now has nine points in 17 games this year and 24 points in 96 career contests.

Spencer Craig, Northern Cyclones

Second-year Cyclones defenseman Spencer Craig (’02 / Baltimore, MD) and his team continue to hold first place in the New England Division, going undefeated with eight total wins in the month of November, 30 points in the overall standings. During these eight games, Craig had his best performance yet where he was able to rack up four assists during a 6-3 victory against cross state rivals, the New Hampshire Monarchs. In addition to this four-point game, Craig also netted his first goal of the season against the South Shore Kings that would eventually be the game winning goal. The Maryland native went +6 overall this month and was registered as having 3 hits as well.

Goaltender

Ean Badgett, Islanders Hockey Club

Badgett (’04/Howell, Mich.) continues to assert his dominance between the pipes for the Islanders with an outstanding record of 6-1-0 during the month of November. In six games, Badgett allowed only seven goals, brining his monthly GAA to 1.00. During his 419 minutes played this month, the Michigan native was faced with a total of 159 shots, and has increased his season save total to 335. As we start to enter the 2nd half of the season, Badgett and the Islanders hope to remain in the win column and make a return to the USPHL Nationals Event.
