Forward: Ty Broad, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
Broad (‘03/West Seneca, N.Y.) tied for the league lead in points this past week, registering six points in two games as the Jr. Isles swept the Mercer Chiefs. He posted a goal and two assists for three points in each of the two games, including his second game-winner of the season, his sixth of his career. He has two games to reach 100 in his NCDC career.
Defense: Carl Johan Salle, Connecticut Jr. Rangers
Salle (‘03/Malmo, Sweden) was all over the place for the Jr. Rangers in helping them earn three points in a weekend against the Jersey Hitmen for the first time since the 2018-19 season. He posted a goal and two assists for two points, and added seven blocked shots and 26 takeaways on the weekend.
Goaltender: Nicholas Bevilacqua, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
The third-year NCDC veteran continues to shine with his new team, posting most recently a 2-0 record with 65 saves on 67 shots over the two games against the Mercer Chiefs, giving him a .970 save percentage. Over his last four games – all wins – he’s given up two goals or less. He is 7-1-1-1 with a .948 save percentage.
Rookie*: Connor Lemmerbrock, Jersey Hitmen
Lemmerbrock (‘04/Massapequa, N.Y.) scored three of the four Hitmen goals this past weekend, including the OT winner among one of his two goals for the Hitmen on Sunday. Overall, he has registered seven points in eight games.
