Provo Predators 7, Rock Springs Grizzlies 4

The Predators won the first-ever showcase game held in the Mountain Division as part of the NCDC Frozen Futures Showcase in Idaho Falls. Ryan Roethke led the way with two goals and two assists, and Caleb Bendell put up three points (1-2-3). Lucca Ori scored two goals, and Einar Naslund (0-2-2) and Ryan Coots (1-1-2) also had multiple points. Michael Polston stopped 37 of 41 in the win.

 

South Shore Kings 8, Northern Cyclones 3

Nathan Stachowiak led the Kings with a 2-2-4 line, while Jake Kavanagh (1-2-3) and Samuel Chrenka (0-3-3) were also among the team’s top point-scorers. Kotaro Murase, Thomas Delfarno and Wesley Schwarzmiller each had two assists, and Seiya Ishida had a 1-1-2 line. Adam Stevenson made 27 saves on 30 shots.

 

Utah Outliers 5, Ogden Mustangs 3

The Outliers’ Philip Rondina made 45 saves on 48 shots, and five different scorers registered goals. Nathan Huntington scored the GWG. Garrett Joss and Jean-Sebastian Pack had two assists apiece.

 

Pueblo Bulls 4, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 3

Eddie Paulissian scored the regulation game-winner with 30 seconds remaining to complete a three-goal third period comeback after being down 3-1 to the NCDC Frozen Futures showcase host Spud Kings. Paulissian also added an assist, Cooper Owens had two assists and Hunter Hayes scored two goals, including the tying marker. Beau Altman made 27 saves on 30 shots.
