The Death Pool – CAJHL Goes Dark

As we walk through the shadow of death we shall fear no recruiting. Yes, its that time of year boys and girls, its dying time.

The CAJHL, the little league that could, is calling it quits for the 2024-2025 season. With only four teams committed, and three expansion teams failing to come up with the actual money to pay for expansion, owners have decided to take the year off rather than trying to play with just four teams.

While other leagues would have tried to scam players out of their money and put on a sham of a season, the CAJHL continued to show its leaders have integrity. Calling the season now and giving players the opportunity to find new homes was the right, and best decision to make.

Insiders have informed TJHN that the league will attempt to make a return in 2025. Team owners and league management will stay on board while attempting to make a return.

With four teams going dark, that puts about one hundred payers on the street for recruiting purposes. With reports of at least another twelve teams in the United States on the verge of going dark, this may save a few of those.

The fun is just beginning here in The Death Pool, so many teams, not enough players, and who will be next to be featured?
