Week of Nov. 8, 2024

Games of Oct. 29-Nov. 4, 2024

Pacific Division

Forward: Christopher Porciuncula, Long Beach Bombers

A third-year junior veteran and former NA3HL player, Porciuncula (‘05/Artesia, Calif.) racked up back-to-back hat tricks on Nov. 1 and 2, including a four-goal game on Nov. 1 against Ventura. He enjoyed a 3-4-7 line on Nov. 2 to give him 11 points for the week, tied for the most in all of the Premier between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4.

Defense: Hunter Howell, Fresno Monsters

The second-year Monster Howell (‘05/Fort Erie, Ont.) registered two goals and three assists during the Monsters’ three-game sweep of the Ontario Jr. Reign between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2. He already has 13 points in 12 games this year, just one point off of his full-season 2023-24 totals.

Goaltender: Nicholas Perry, Henderson Force

A second-year USPHL Premier veteran, Perry (‘05/Chino Hills, Calif.) evened out his season record with a win against the Northwest Division’s Iron County Yeti, making 23 saves on 24 shots. He improved to a .915 save percentage and already equaled his 2023-24 wins total at 3-3 this year.

Northwest Division

Forward: Roni Alanko, Vernal Oilers

Alanko (‘05/Helsinki, Finland) is having a heck of a first North American season, as he currently has 23 points in eight games. Almost a third of that comes from an amazing two-game performance that saw him score five goals and add three assists against the Colorado Fighting Elk. His first North American hat trick came on Nov. 1.

Defense: Konstantin Los, Rogue Valley Royals

Los (‘04/Moskva, Russia) scored his first career hat trick in this, his second season with the Royals, on Nov. 1 against the Bellingham Blazers. All told for the Nov. 1-2 weekend, he put up a 4-3-7 line, and he is on a four-game scoring streak with a 5-5-10 line in that span.

Goaltender: Tyrus Pratley, Vernal Oilers

Pratley (‘04/Hollywood, Md.) won his second and third straight games of the season to stand 3-0 after stopping 59 of 61 shots in two games against the Colorado Fighting Elk, Nov. 1-2. In the Saturday game, he was particularly outstanding with 41 saves on 42 shots. Pratley brings past Tier 1 Hockey Federation experience with the Maine Moose as well as previous junior experience in the NA3HL.
