NCDC Players Of The Week: Mountain Division

Forward: Matsvei Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls 

Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) scored three goals and had three assists to help the Pueblo Bulls win both of their games this week. In his first season with the NCDC and the Bulls, Marshchanok played 23 games and has 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) and counting. 

 

Defense: D.J. MacLeish, Idaho Falls Spud Kings

A December Defenseman of the Month MacLeish (‘05/Troy, Mich.) continues to make big impacts for the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, adding three points to his career tally on Dec. 8 to help the team defeat the Utah Outliers. MacLeish is in his second NCDC season, with 58 career games and 56 career points. 

 

Goaltender: Dilans Birkans, Ogden Mustangs 

Birkans (‘06/Ikskile, Latvia) went 2-0 in his games played with the Ogden Mustangs this week. He had 60 saves on 61 shots for a .984 save percentage. In his first NCDC season, Birkans is 8-1-0-1.

 

Rookie: Siamion Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls 

Marshchanok (‘05/Minski, Belarus) had six points across two goals and four assists to help the Pueblo Bulls win their two games this week. The rookie has 27 points with 10 goals and 17 assists across 20 games so far this season with three game winning goals to his name. 

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
