NCDC Players Of The Week: Atlantic Division

Forward: Jared Rothman, Rockets Hockey Club 

Rothman (‘06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) helped the Rockets end the week with a three-game win streak, adding five points across three goals and two assists to his name. In his first NCDC season, Rothman has played 26 games and has 36 total points. 

 

Defense: Brayden Sprickman, West Chester Wolves 

Sprickman (‘05/Erie, Penn.) scored one goal and posted three assists against the Rockets Hockey Club on Dec. 14, helping the West Chester Wolves put another notch in their win column. The NCDC rookie has 20 points across 26 games in his first season. 

 

Goalie: Jan Lokajice, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 

Lokajice (‘04/Czechia) had a 40-save shutout for the Connecticut Junior Rangers on Dec. 14, helping the team defeat the Mercer Chiefs 3-0. Lokajice has a .950 save percentage in his first NCDC season, with five games played so far. 

 

Rookie: Emil Szepesi, West Chester Wolves 

Szepesi (‘06/Timra, Sweden) continues the month on a five-game points streak he began Nov. 29. This week, he scored three goals and had two assists to add to his season tally of 18. Szepesi has played 25 games in his rookie season so far, with one game winning goal to his name.

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
