Midwest Division
Forward: Alexander Musyakevych, Chicago Cougars
Muskyakevych (‘05/Wilmette, Ill.) put up two goals and added four assists for six points in his career best performance on Dec. 15. He now has a career-best 28 points this year, and 44 points in 62 games with the Cougars.
Defense: Jesper Frunck, Decatur Blaze
Frunck (‘04/Stockholm, Sweden) rang up a 2-3-5 line for the Blaze over the course of four games, and he currently has a scoring streak of seven points in his last five games. Frunck has put up 15 points in 22 games this season, his first for Decatur.
Goaltender: Lukas Janicina, Chicago Crush
Janicina (‘06/Bratislava, Slovakia) stopped 47 of 49 shots when he faced the MJDP, and he added eight more saves on nine shootout attempts for the big win, his fifth this season and second in a row.
North Division
Forward: Felix Ahlstrand, Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings
Ahlstrand (‘05/Honefoss, Norway) was feeling extremely generous over the weekend as the Riverkings put up two decisive victories. He dished out eight assists over the two games and also scored a goal for a nine-point weekend. He improved to 37 points in 26 games.
Defense: Xavier Beauchamp, Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings
Beauchamp (‘06/Orleans, Ont.), a second-year Riverking, put up four goals and three assists for seven points during the Riverkings’ big offensive weekend. Ahlstrand stands at 15 points in 20 games, nearing the 17 points he put up in a 41-game season last year.
Goaltender: Charles Healey, Isanti Outlaws
Healey (‘04/Auckland, N.Z.) made 57 saves on 60 shots in 65 minutes in a close shootout loss to the Northwest Express. The second-year Premier veteran has a .927 save percentage this year.
Great Lakes Division
Forward: Jacob Webb, Columbus Mavericks
Webb (‘05/Grove City, Ohio) played in just one game last weekend, putting up his first junior hat trick on Dec. 13. He improved to 14 goals on the season, and he has 19 points in total in 23 games.
Defense: Graham Wood, Columbus Mavericks
A five-year Mavericks member Wood (‘04/Powell, Ohio) put up the game-winning goal and an assist against the Cincinnati Jr. Cyclones on Dec. 13, the first game-winner of his career on a special night that also saw USPHL veteran Caden Cavalieri score his 100th point. Wood is the Mavericks’ all-time leader in games played by nearly 50 games over the next closest player, having joined Columbus in 2020-21.
Goaltender: Andrew Parmentier, Metro Jets
Parmentier (‘04/New Baltimore, Mich.) stopped 27 of 28 shots by the Jets historic rivals the Toledo Cherokee on Dec. 13, giving the Jets the win in the always close games. Parmentier is 6-1-0-0 with a .947 save percentage this season, and a 28-11-1-3 record with a .923 save percentage for his career.
