USPHL Premier Players Of The Week: Northeast Region

Forward: William Palmer, South Shore Kings

Palmer (‘05/Hyattsville, Md.) was a standout in his first game of 2025, adding four points to his name across one goal and three assists. In his first Premier season, the South Shore Kings forward has 23 total points over 30 games. He has nine goals and 14 assists.

 

Defense: C.J. Stice, South Shore Kings

Stice (‘06/Orange, Calif.) scored one goal and posted three assists on Jan. 6, helping the South Shore Kings enter 2025 as number two in the division standings. In his first Premier season, the blueliner has 24 points (four goals; 20 assists) across 28 games played and counting.

 

Goaltender: Matthew Dore, South Shore Kings

Dore (‘04/Dartmouth, Mass.) made 36 saves on 37 shots for a South Shore Kings win on Jan. 6. In his second Premier season, he has a .947 save percentage a a 1.57 goals against average, becoming the third-best goalie in the Premier League so far this season.

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Matthew Kymer, Rockets Hockey Club 

Kymer (‘05/Ramsey, N.J.) scored in both games last week, adding five points to his name. In his first Premier season with the Rockets Hockey Club, the forward has 26 points across 22 games played. He has registered 10 goals and 16 assists so far this season.

 

Defense: Sheldon Rothfleisch, Jersey Hitmen 

Rothfleisch (‘06/Bedford Corners, N.Y.) added three assists to his scorecard last week, bringing his season tally to 11 points. The blueliner has played 27 games in his second Premier season, crossing off a milestone 50 games with 51 career appearances. He has 14 career points.

 

Goaltender: Riley Gorman, Elmira Impact 

Gorman (‘04/Odessa, Texas) went 1-0-1-0 last week, garnering a .948 save percentage with 91 saves on 96 shots. In his first Premier season with the Elmira Impact, the goaltender is 15-6-0-1 with two shutout wins. He has a .929 save percentage, with 703 saves on 757 shots.

Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
