Forward: Braxton Powers, Islanders Hockey Club
Powers (‘04/Raleigh, N.C.) continues to shine with the Islanders, registering six points last week. As the forward prepares for the 2025 All-Star Game, he continues to dominate the points leaderboard for the NCDC with 46 points. He has 110 career points over 128 games played with the Islanders across four seasons.
Defense: Jason Zaccari, South Shore Kings
Zaccari (‘05/Santa Ana, Calif.) scored his 50th career assist last week, adding six to his career points total of 61. The South Shore Kings blueliner has played 74 career games across two NCDC seasons. He has 26 points over 25 games so far this season.
Goaltender: Dylan Eliason, Utica Jr. Comets
Eliason (‘04/Northville, Mich.) garnered a .964 save percentage for a win on Jan. 10. The Utica Jr. Comets goaltender is in his third NCDC season, with a .907 career save percentage. He has one shutout win to his name. Eliason played two prior seasons in the USPHL Premier – USPHL Advancement In Action!
Rookie: Jake Henry, Islanders Hockey Club
Henry (‘05/Boxborough, Mass.) went 2-0 in his games last week, making 52 saves on 56 shots for a .929 save percentage. The Islanders Hockey Club goaltender is 1-1-0-0 in his first season. With only four NCDC appearances so far in 2024-25, he has a bright future with the Islanders after joining from the USPHL Premier team – another great example of USPHL Advancement In Action!
