Games of March 13-18, 2025

 

Forward: Jared Rothman, Rockets Hockey Club

The All-Star forward Rothman (‘06/Chappaqua, N.Y.) scored four goals and added two assists for six points in three games the past week to close his outstanding regular season. He scored 70 points in 56 games, including a hat trick in his final regular season game. 

 

Defense: Jake Stevens, Mercer Chiefs

Another All-Star selection, Stevens (‘05/Newton, N.J.) sent three assists home for the Chiefs in his only game of the week on March 21. With 55 points in 48 games, Stevens finished as the leading scorer among all NCDC defensemen. 

 

Goaltender: Cole Werthman, Mercer Chiefs 

Werthman (‘06/Levittown, Pa.) made 37 saves to complete a shutout, the fourth of his season, and second in three games. He closed his season with an 8-3-1-0 record with a .942 save percentage. 

 

Rookie: Cooper Struckel, Rockets Hockey Club 

Struckel (‘06/Chicago, Ill.) scored a goal and added four assists for a five-point weekend against the Hitmen and P.A.L. Struckel ended the season with 41 points in 53 games.

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
