Hampton Roads Whalers 2, Coral Springs Jr. Cats 1
The Hampton Roads Whalers edged the Coral Springs Jr. Cats, 2-1, in a tight defensive battle. Goals from Noel Wargloo and Matiss Zilitis powered Hampton Roads, while Coral Springs got on the board in the second. The Whalers held firm the rest of the way to secure the win.
Fresno Monsters 9, Ontario Jr. Reign 1
The Fresno Monsters exploded offensively in a dominant 9-1 victory over the Ontario Jr. Reign. Fresno jumped out early and never looked back, scoring eight goals through the first two periods. William Lindgren led the way with a hat trick in the win.
Minnesota Squatch 4, Hawkesbury Knights 3
The Minnesota Squatch rallied late to defeat the Hawkesbury Knights, 4-3. After a tight game through two periods, Minnesota scored three times in the third to complete the comeback. Danylo Tsybulskyi and Eison Nee each had multi-goal efforts to lead the charge.
Northern Cyclones 6, Toledo Cherokee 1
The Northern Cyclones pulled away with a strong offensive performance, defeating the Toledo Cherokee 6-1. After a close first period, the Cyclones broke the game open with three goals in the second and added two more in the third to seal the win.
Vernal Oilers 5, West Chester Wolves 1
The Vernal Oilers controlled the game from start to finish in a 5-1 win over the West Chester Wolves. Vernal built a multi-goal lead through two periods and added two more in the third, cruising to victory behind a balanced scoring effort.
Metro Jets 7, Fort Wayne Spacemen 2
The Metro Jets rolled to a 7-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Spacemen, jumping out to a five-goal first period and never looking back. Metro continued to add on in the second and third, with Luka Maj Pivec and Noah Bodurka each recording multi-goal efforts to lead the offense. Fort Wayne got goals from Reid Hyde and Jace Lacey, but couldn’t recover from the early deficit as the Jets secured the win.
