The Bratislava Capitals are pleased to announce that American forward Seth Lenzini has committed to the organization for the upcoming season in the European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL).
Lenzini, a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a left-shot center who brings additional forward depth to the Capitals’ roster. Standing 6-foot-2, he previously competed with the Colorado Fighting Elk in the USPHL Premier league during the 2024–25 season.
His commitment represents another step in the Capitals’ efforts to assemble a competitive roster while providing North American student-athletes with an opportunity to continue their hockey careers in Europe alongside their academic studies.
The Capitals, representing VSM Bratislava and City University of Seattle, offer student-athletes an opportunity to pursue higher education in an English-language academic environment while competing in an international college hockey setting.
“Bringing players to Bratislava is about offering more than just hockey,” said Hockey Director Joseph Kolodziej. “We want our student-athletes to challenge themselves on the ice, earn their degrees, experience a new culture and develop the skills that will serve them long after their playing careers are over. We are pleased to welcome Seth to the Capitals family.”
The EUCHL continues to develop a pathway for North American players seeking a different college hockey experience, combining competitive hockey with international education and the opportunity to live and study in Europe.
For Lenzini, joining the Capitals offers the opportunity to take the next step in his hockey journey while experiencing life in Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital city. The city provides an international student environment, historic European surroundings and access to travel throughout Central Europe.
As the Capitals continue their inaugural season representing VSM City University of Seattle, the organization remains focused on developing a program that combines hockey, academics and the broader student-athlete experience.
Welcome to Bratislava, Seth!
