Capitals Launch YouTube Campaign, Seeking Subscribers to Bratislava Hockey to Fans Worldwide

The Bratislava Capitals are calling on their supporters, hockey fans, friends, and alumni around the world to help bring the team’s games to a global audience through the launch of the club’s YouTube broadcasting channel.

With the team’s first online broadcasts scheduled for October 30 and 31, the Capitals need just 50 subscribers to reach the threshold required to begin streaming their games live on YouTube next weekend.

The goal is simple: bring the excitement of EUCHL college hockey to supporters everywhere, allowing family members, friends, scouts, and fans to follow the journeys of these young athletes wherever they are in the world.

“These young men have made a tremendous commitment to pursuing their hockey and educational dreams in Europe,” said Hockey Director Joseph Kolodziej. “We want to give their families, friends, and supporters the opportunity to be part of that journey, even if they are thousands of kilometres away. Reaching 50 subscribers is a small step that will make a big difference in helping us bring these games to everyone who wants to watch.”

The Bratislava Capitals represent VSM / City University of Seattle in Bratislava, combining the opportunity to pursue higher education with the challenge and excitement of competitive college hockey. The program brings together student-athletes who are working toward their academic goals while continuing to develop their skills on the ice.

The YouTube channel will provide an important connection between the team and its growing international community. Whether supporters are in North America, across Europe, or elsewhere around the world, the Capitals want them to share in the victories, challenges, and memorable moments that make the student-athlete experience special.

The club is asking every supporter to take two simple steps:

  1. Visit YouTube and search for YouTube@BratislavaCapitalsHC

  2. Subscribe to the channel and encourage friends, family, and fellow hockey fans to do the same.

With the October 30–31 broadcast weekend approaching, every subscription counts. The Capitals are asking their community to help reach the first 50 subscribers so the team can take this next step toward making its games accessible to a worldwide audience.

The players are chasing their dreams. The Capitals want their supporters around the world to be there with them.

Fifty subscribers. One global hockey family. Let’s make it happen.
