I’m a versatile forward and can play center or left wing. My main strengths are my skating ability and my tenacity. I love to play on the edge. I played a lot of minutes this year including power play and penalty kill. My former AAA Minor Midget coach described me as gritty, sacrifices, and well disciplined, who takes pride in winning the battles along the wall and driving the net in the offensive zone.
Over the past two seasons I’ve transitioned from the left wing to center, although I can play the wing anytime. This year, I was called upon consistently to take critical face offs in the offensive and defensive zones. My overall goal is to see how well I can progress or how good I can get in the game. I’m willing to take the best route that may present itself, whether that is Junior or NCAA.
Individual statistics are important, but what is most important is the attitude a player brings to the team. Everything I do on the ice is done for the team. Being a team player may be the most important thing you can bring. Outside of hockey I enjoy other sports in particular lacrosse.
