Chet Tooker Commits To Indiana Tech

Chet Tooker has made his commitment to play for the Indiana Tech Warriors.

After a break out year and finishing in the top ten for NOJHL games played, minutes played, wins, shots on goal faced, saves, and shut outs, the Rumson New Jersey native had three Collegiate offers waiting for him.

Choosing Indiana Tech simply came down to wanting to play with several of his former team mates from the 2013-2014 MNJHL season who are already enrolled there.

“I am very excited to be heading to school in the fall.  Last season was tremendous.  The Eskimos gave me an opportunity to be a number one goalie at the Tier II level, and it was the most fun I had since starting my junior career.”  Said Tooker “The NOJHL is a great league, with great people, and I cant say enough about how fortunate I feel to have been a part of it.”

Chet Tookers path to College Hockey was not one traveled by many.  A perennial back up net minder, it wasn’t until going to the NOJHL that he received an opportunity to prove himself as a full time player.  In his final junior season he earned every minute he played, and thus earned his opportunity to attend a great educational institution.

Congratulations Chet.
