You know what kids, its not often I get to write about a happy ending. In fact I don’t remember ever getting the chance to write about one.
But today, I am happy to report that after an extensive investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police, a number of Cobourg Cougars players have been cleared of sexual assault allegations.
Back in March accusations were made after an alleged team party.
In todays climate, where more and more athletes are facing criminal allegations, it has become exceedingly rare for those allegations to not result in charges.
Perhaps now, the Cougars players, Owners, Management, and the league can simply focus on hockey.
