AAU Suspends MWJHL’s Holland River Bandits

After several reports concerning AAU ruling violations, the Holland River Bandits MWJHL franchise has been suspended for a minimum of one year.

Additionally, Owner Deverie Del Core has been fined $2000.00 on top of a $2000.00 team fine.  Both fines are required to be paid no later than July 15th, 2013.  Should the fines be paid, the River Bandits organization and Mrs. Del Core will be able to file an appeal in writing to AAU.  That appeal must be received in writing no later than July 19th, 2013.

Curiously missing from any mention in the AAU ruling is Danielle Dudley and therefore some may assume that she may still have a good standing claim on the franchise.

Like nearly all other leagues and governing bodies, all fines must be received before any appeal may be heard.  Typically if an appeal is successful the fines or portions of the fines minus administrative costs are returned to the successful appellant.

Although sources are saying that Michael Chighisola has been said to be an owner or partner in the now suspended franchise, no such documents confirming his ownership are filed with the State of Michigan.

The River Bandits Ownership is due in court tomorrow to face a lawsuit in the Detroit metropolitan area for an unpaid invoice for game jerseys.  Based upon legal documents on file with the State of Michigan Danielle Dudley is the Resident Agent for the River Bandits organization, but sources are reporting that documents on file with the league state that Mrs. Del Core is also an owner.  If either party fails to appear, a default judgement may be issued and the creditor would then have a legal claim to any River Bandits assets that if liquidated would offset the amount of the judgement.

TJHN will attempt to have a writer in the courtroom and will update this story as it develops.
